We're pregnant!!

I know most of you who look at our blog already know but, we're pregnant! I'm twelve weeks now and I've had my first ultrasound. It was so amazing to see our little baby in there! I really could have watched it all day long! It made it feel more real to me. The baby is about 3 and a 1/2 inches from the top it's head to it's bottom. The heart rate was a rapid 166 beats per minute. The doctor says everything looks great and we couldn't be happier! I can't wait to find out what we're having so I don't have to call it an "it" anymore. We've just been calling the baby "Bubbles" so far cause sometimes when I'm not feeling well it kind of feels like bubbles rumbling. :) I noticed Mike kind of had this look of shock on his face at first. I asked him after the appointment if it was shock. He said a little, but pure amazement after that :) We are both so happy and excited to meet this little one! :)

This is "Bubbles" :) I was a little scared right when she first showed me because the baby wasn't moving at all, but then I saw it's fast little heartbeat and I felt so much joy and relief! Our baby is pretty mellow. He or she only flung his or her little arms and legs a couple of times. The doctor said that it's amazing how sometimes even at this stage they show their personality. Guess "Bubbles" takes after his/her mama! :)

I figured I'd do a trimester to trimester belly shot. So here's the first. I hate my side profile though so who knows about next time. :)
